The only convertible I would ever want to own is...
Is...
Not the Lambo. I want that as rigid as it gets and I hate wind noise. I love engine noise but convertibles are distracting.
The one convertible that interests me is the one where I can get the family or friends in and just relax, maybe at the beach...
Yes, I want the Nissan Cabriolet.
Or a wrangler:

I'd drive the CrossCab just to fuck with people.
"Hey I thought you were into cars, what the fuck is that?!"

Ok, I support the wrangler since it looks bad ass, but a Nissan Cabriolet? Seriously? I've seen one in person, they do not look good.

It isn't about looking good. It is a cruiser, a modern cruiser. Its a 57 Bel Air convertible. Everyone get in, we are going cruising on Lake Front Blvd. I see it as the perfect kick back and relax and do nothing else vehicle.
I like the Wrangler better, but because I would also use differently. Actually go on the beach, through the woods...

"It's unique, that is what it is. Oh, nice V6 Mustang convertible you have there by the way"

I can understand why you would want one, but imho the styling can't justify getting one. I would much rather get one of these:
Decent space, while still looking pretty good, and maintaining some sportiness.

Hell, get a e-class cabriolet. That would be the best idea.

Not a bad choice... Which one is roomier though?

I don't care for Mustangs unless its from the 60's... Or maybe the 2015. Plus, you take the top off a Mustang and any hope for a decent sports car is dashed.

I honestly don't know. Just cause it's a suc/crossover thing doesn't means it garunteed to be roomier. I'm too lazy to look up legroom too.

Hehe. You can have convertible, and a sports car.

Love it: But why ruin a sports car with a removable top? Also no backseat and budget for a cruiser / convertible wouldn't fit that.

But lambo's aren't track cars …. you buy a Lamborghini to be seen. So a convertible makes sense.
Also, I want many convertibles. In fact I want my next car to be one, got to at least try owing one.

Yeah, well you never said you wanted a sports car, you said you wanted something to cruise around with your friends. So who cares if the mustangs isn't as sporty as before if it had a tayra top, it will still be better that than nissan cabriolet.

I have been in and driven them, and hated them. I am for whatever reason sensitive to sounds especially certain white noises. Wind on a soft top is one of them, I get massive head aches. Engine noise, no problem. Things like noise cancellation in Bose headphones make me nauseous. So its a personal thing there. If I got a convertible it would be with the expectation it never went above about 40mph. So the cariolet really is about perfect.
And if I bought a Lamborghini it damn well would be tracked!

Well, it would at least look sporty ;)
Plus, Mustang! Bad move. Sell me a 66~ish Mustang for cruising with the top down, OK. Sell me a 2015+ hard top for driving, OK...
But I can't really see anything something else does better than the Nissan does. The Nissan is good for exactly one thing: Lazy cruising with 4 and it seems to do it well.

Hmm, well it just is down to opinions at this point. There's only one thing to do...FIGHT TO THE DEATH! lol, jk. If I was to get a nissan, I would get a 370z. I considered getting one instead of myy accord coupe, the only problem was it had two seats, and I sometimes really need the extra two seats.

Exactly, extra roomy seats like the Cabriolet!
Also, the 370z is really one of my favorite cars, and I would much rather it. But if I wanted a cruiser the Cabriolet seems the best choice for that situation.
And fight: OK.
Vehicular combat, Derby style. You in a Miata convertible and me in the Nissan. Winner gets all future recommendations of convertibles.

I agree, the cabriolet is a good choice, the question is it really the best choice. People will look at you more than people look at people in bugs. If you like the looks go for it. But personally, I don't.

Even better, those things are designed to ddisintegrate on impact to save the driver! One good whack and your in the cockpit on the road with the rest of the car 30 feet away.

Did you know there's only what 14 bolts that hold the engine bay to the cockpit of the bugatti.
